Sugarplums and Spirits

Welcome to Sugarplums & Spirits! I'm Lauren, and I can assure you that it has been a strange journey getting here. I started out studying reiki as a means of managing my own mental health, but realized early on how transformative this practice could be in others' lives as well. I practiced energy-healing on as many people as I could and was genuinely surprised how many folks were receptive to it despite its lack of popularity at the time. When I had the opportunity to learn animal reiki, I jumped at the chance, remembering how a psychic once told me as a teenager that I could "talk to animals." Not understanding what that could possibly mean at the time, I forged ahead with my training. It wasn't until later that I discovered not everyone who practices animal healing can actually "hear" them and have a full-blown conversation. I legitimately thought that's how it worked for everyone. Imagine my surprise when I found out that animal communication is its own unique gift! I'd, apparently, had it all along without knowing. I guess that psychic was right after all! I am blessed and humbled to share this gift with as many people and animals as possible. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
